The Connected Africa Summit is a transformative initiative poised to shape the digital destiny of Africa.
In collaboration with the Republic of Kenya Ministry of ICT & the Digital Economy, the summit aimed to congregate over 10,000 delegates from diverse sectors to forge a collective path for a robust and connected digital economy. Envisioning a digitally sovereign Africa.
The Ask
To accommodate the varied delegates, including heads of state and ministers, the summit arranged for high-quality interpretation services for French. Congress Rental East Africa was hired to provide this service for 2 breakout rooms and 1 main hall at Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi. The setup was customized for each room's layout with the help of the AV service provider, Homeboyz Entertainment.
The Solution
During the event at Uhuru Gardens, interpreters used soundproof booths that met ISO standards for interpretation in two breakout sessions and the main hall. Delegates received the interpreted audio through digital infrared receivers.
