How Remote Simultaneous Interpretation Works
Remote Simultaneous Interpretation (RSI) allows participants to listen to live interpretation through a virtual platform without requiring physical interpretation equipment at the venue. Professional interpreters work remotely to deliver real-time language support for participants joining from different locations around the world.
RSI is ideal for virtual conferences, hybrid meetings, webinars, training programs and international events where participants speak different languages. It reduces travel and logistics requirements while enabling broader participation, making multilingual communication more accessible, flexible and cost-effective.

FAQs
Your Questions Answered
What is the difference between RSI and onsite interpretation?
RSI allows interpreters to work remotely through an online platform, while onsite interpretation requires interpreters and equipment to be physically present at the venue.
Do participants need to download any software?
This depends on the platform used. In most cases, participants simply join through a web browser or meeting link provided by the organizer.
Can remote interpretation support multiple languages?
Yes. Multiple interpretation channels can be configured, allowing attendees to select their preferred language during the event.
Is RSI more cost-effective than onsite interpretation?
For some events, RSI can reduce travel, accommodation, and venue-related costs. The most suitable option depends on the event format and participant requirements.
What happens if internet connectivity is interrupted?
We implement technical checks and redundancy measures before events. Stable internet connectivity is recommended for speakers, interpreters, and participants.
